Job summary

Enterprise Mobility in Egham is offering a Payroll Apprentice position based at our European Head Office. You will start in a structured training program, entering payroll from start to finish and supporting the team with accuracy and compliance.

This 18-month Level 3 apprenticeship includes regular in-work sessions, support from industry trainers, and the chance to become a CIPP Associate Member. The role is 40 hours per week with a designated study day.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
• Great communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, namely MS Excel.
• Demonstrates excellent time management skills and working to deadlines.
• Demonstrates ability to work with numbers.
• Maths and English GCSE or equivalent at grade 4 (C) or above.

Responsibilities

• Entering payroll from start to finish.
• Reconciling payroll accounting ledgers.
• Dealing with ad-hoc payroll queries from employees and HMRC.
• Performing payroll and accounting related administrative tasks.
• Preparing payroll entries for posting to the general ledger.
• Analysis of monthly payroll information.
• Preparation of monthly payroll accounting schedules and reconciliations.
• Ad-hoc projects.
• Manual Calculations.
• HMRC/Tax.
• Reporting.
• Policies and procedures.
• To undertake pensions training in-house.
