Job summary

IPS Group Limited in Harrogate is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join its team. This role suits someone with payroll experience who wants to develop further and handle a portfolio of clients.

Full training and support are provided. You will process weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls, calculate statutory payments, manage starters and leavers, submit RTI to HMRC, assist with pensions and auto-enrolment, and handle client payroll queries.

Qualifications

• Payroll experience gained in industry or practice.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop payroll knowledge.
• Friendly, approachable manner and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients.
• Calculate statutory payments including SSP, SMP and SPP.
• Process starters, leavers and payroll amendments.
• Prepare and submit RTI returns to HMRC.
• Assist with pension submissions and auto-enrolment.
• Respond to client payroll queries.
