Confidential in Harrogate is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join its team. The role suits someone with payroll experience who wants to develop further, with full training provided.

You will handle weekly to monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients, process starters and leavers, submit RTI returns to HMRC, assist with auto-enrolment, and respond to payroll queries. Industry or practice backgrounds are welcome.

Qualifications

• Payroll experience, gained in either industry or practice.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop payroll knowledge.
• Friendly, approachable manner and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients.
• Calculating statutory payments, including SSP, SMP and SPP.
• Processing starters, leavers and payroll amendments.
• Preparing and submitting RTI returns to HMRC.
• Assisting with pension submissions and auto-enrolment.
• Responding to client payroll queries.
