Job summary

GXO Logistics in Warrington is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team for a fixed-term 9–12 months. You will ensure accurate payroll data processing and maintain electronic people data to support ICELAND customer payrolls.

The role runs Sunday to Thursday, 07:00–15:00, offering up to £31,000 per year and a robust benefits package. Ideal candidates will have experience in a busy payroll environment, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced payroll environment.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines with accuracy.
• Collaborative and friendly approach with strong communication.
• Flexible to take on varied HR & Payroll tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll data and ensure reports are accurate and checked.
• Update employee payroll records (P45s, starters, tax and NIC).
• Respond to staff payroll queries.
• Support ad-hoc administration tasks as required.
