Portfolio Payroll is supporting a reputable business based in Rotherham in their search for a Payroll Administrator to join the growing team on a permanent basis. The role requires experience handling high-volume payroll with a mix of UK and Irish payroll processing.

The successful candidate will manage end-to-end payroll processes, statutory payments, tax and NI contributions, and respond to payroll queries, while enjoying hybrid working and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience handling end-to-end payroll for high volumes.
• Proficient with UK and Irish payroll processes.
• Knowledge of statutory payments (SMP, SPP, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll for a large volume of payslips.
• Handle UK and Irish payroll processing.
• Administer statutory payments (SMP, SPP, and other statutory payments).
• Respond to general payroll queries.
• Manage Tax and National Insurance contributions.
• Support ad hoc payroll duties.

As a Payroll Administrator, your main duties and responsibilities include:

• End to end payroll processing for a large volume of payslips
• Mix of UK and Irish payroll processing
• Statutory payments – SMP, SPP, SPP
• Dealing with general payroll queries
• Tax and NI contributions
• Adhoc administrative and payroll duties
