Portfolio Payroll Limited are working with a reputable business in Rotherham to recruit a Payroll Administrator on a permanent basis. The role requires experience handling high-volume payroll across UK and Ireland, including end-to-end processing and dealing with payroll queries.

The package includes a salary of £29,000–£32,000, hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, free on-site parking, a company pension scheme and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience handling high‑volume payroll in a similar role.
• Knowledge of UK and Irish payroll processing is essential.
• Ability to manage statutory payments and payroll queries.

Responsibilities

• End to end payroll processing for a large volume of payslips.
• Mix of UK and Irish payroll processing.
• Handle statutory payments (SMP, SPP, SPP).
• Address general payroll queries and compute Tax/NI contributions.
• Support ad hoc administrative and payroll duties.

Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a reputable business based in Rotherham who are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their growing team on a permanent basis. For this role, it is essential that you have experience in dealing with high volume payroll.

As a Payroll Administrator, your main duties and responsibilities include:

• End to end payroll processing for a large volume of payslips
• Mix of UK and Irish payroll processing
• Statutory payments - SMP, SPP, SPP
• Dealing with general payroll queries
• Tax and NI contributions
• Adhoc administrative and payroll duties
