Job description

Portfolio Payroll is working alongside an award-winning independent hospitality business based in Derby, which is looking to add a Payroll Admin to its established team. The company is growing and seeking an experienced payroll candidate for a part-time role of 20 hours per week, working on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Payroll Admin will be responsible for:

  1. End-to-end payroll processing
  2. Ensuring proper PAYE, National Insurance, and Pension deductions are made and submitted timely
  3. Providing comprehensive advice to employees regarding payroll queries
  4. Ensuring all payments, including Pension Contributions, are made within deadlines
  5. Updating payroll policies as needed
  6. Experience with Sage Payroll systems is preferred
  7. Salary up to £30,000 pro-rata
  8. Benefits include free on-site parking, flexible start and finish times, 28 days holiday, and a great team environment
