Job summary

Community Alliance Trust in Scotland is seeking a capable administrator to manage the finance payments system, payroll processing, and pensions, while providing friendly first-line support to the office and visitors.

You will work with the Trust Manager for budget preparation and year-end audit, and contribute to process improvements and project administration within a small team delivering community development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Finance: Hold primary responsibility for the payment system, ensure providers are paid in good time
• Accurately record and process income and expenditure, including invoices and expenses
• Prepare monthly payroll information, including pension salary sacrifice payments
• Support the Trust Manager during budget preparation and year-end audit
• Provide advice on process improvements to all aspects of the finance system
• Administration: Manage the office environment and first point of contact for enquiries
• Procurement and delivery of office supplies and services
• Manage documentation and communications
• Support project work administration and website content as required
• Provide administrative support to the wider team
