What will you be doing?
- Processing daily payments in our bespoke systems, including inbound and outbound transactions (direct debits, bank transfers, card, and internal money movements).
- Identifying non-standard payments and account behaviors, and finding solutions.
- Understanding the end-to-end flow of money through Funding Circle and taking appropriate actions for each payment type.
- Conducting daily checks and authorizations of transactions involving virtual and real-world money.
- Working closely with AML and Fraud teams to protect client funds.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies, focusing on FCA and CASS standards.
- Proactively solving problems, mitigating risks, issues, or control weaknesses in your daily tasks.
What we’re looking for
- Previous administration experience, such as in insurance, financial services operations, or other high-volume roles.
- Experience in payment processing and client money responsibilities is a plus but not essential.
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service through a process-driven approach.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and enjoyment of connecting with people.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
