Job summary

Handelsbanken is undergoing a major payments modernisation. We are seeking a highly proficient Business Analyst to work in our payments area, partnering with Product Owners and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver a brand-new payments engine.

The role requires banking domain experience, knowledge of CHAPS, BACS, SEPA, Faster Payments, ISO20022, and a disciplined approach to requirements, testing support, and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience working on payments projects within a banking environment.
• Strong understanding of payments technologies, channels, processes and types.
• Familiarity with Agile ceremonies and backlog management.
• Ability to elicit, refine and map requirements to designs and tests.

Responsibilities

• Elicit requirements from 3rd party vendors and business/technical teams.
• Define detailed requirements and maintain product backlog with prioritisation.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across technology, business and vendors.
• Document As Is/To Be processes for payments and handoffs.
• Support testing teams with acceptance and regression testing.
• Support operational material and IT runbook production.
• Coordinate with Change Delivery on artefacts and governance.
• Escalate risk per Bank policies and maintain governance standards.
