Job summary

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive post holder to join the Patient Services Management Team. You will develop and deliver patient services/administration training for all staff involved in waiting list management and clinical administration processes and policies.

Job description

The post holder will be a member of the Patient Services Management Team and provide support to the Patient Services Training Co-ordinator as well as support in delivering waiting list management and clinical administration process and policy training across the Trust.

Development and delivery of all aspects of patient services/administration training for all disciplines of staff involved in waiting list management and clinical administration processand policies. The post is pivotal in delivering and maintaining a comprehensive and consistent level of training and working practice, which will enable the Trust to deliver safe, effective and efficient operational services to its patients and service users whilst ensuring operational continuity within the operational administration teams. Furthermore, the post holder will support delivery of a training plan for medical and nursing staff in relation to referral to waiting list management and clinical administration process and policies.

• Daily support to the Patient Services Training Co-ordinator, including planning of both regular and ad hoc training sessions to both new starters and refresher training for existing staff. Setting work packages and timescales for checking and signing off completed work. Training has to be responsive and adaptive to enable staff to be adequately trained to perform their roles within the Trust as quickly as possible.
• Responsive training packages will also be required to support the rapid implementation of Trust information projects for example, Digital Patient Communications, Patient Knows Best, Patient Initiated Follow Up's etc.
• The role requires analysis of data reports generated from Power BI reporting and interrogation of this data, breaking it down to individual specialty or care group level. The postholder will actively seek to identify trends and errors where training support to usersmay be required.
• The creation and implementation of documented standard operating procedures
  to support users in relation to waiting list management and clinical administration process and policies.
• Produce, update and confidently deliver waiting list management and clinical administration process and policy sessions throughout the Trust. Training sessions will be to a variety of levels of staff.
