Job summary

Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an experienced information analyst with strong SQL, SSRS and Power BI skills to join our specialist systems development team. You will contribute to development, implementation and testing of Clinical systems and reporting tools to deliver high quality information to end users across the Trust.

You will provide testing support for enhancements of core hospital systems and help build robust reporting solutions for clinical and management

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge and practical experience of using SQL and SSRS and Power BI.
• Experience in an information management environment.
• Experience of working in a specialist systems development team.
• Responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and testing of Clinical systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision of specialist knowledge on system development and testing to a range of end users across the Trust
• Assist in the development and implementation of robust systems for the collection of both clinical and management information to aid the smooth running of services and performance management
• Provide training and support on newly developed systems and work with end users on developing enhancements
• Investigate and develop new methods of reporting using the latest programming and analytical methodologies that are available

Job description

As an experienced information analyst, you will have in-depth knowledge and practical experience of using SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI. You will have knowledge and practical experience of reporting techniques and presentations and have previous experience of working in an information management environment. The post holder will need to work in a specialist systems development team and be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and testing of Clinical systems and reporting tools to provide high quality clinical and management information to end users throughout the Trust. To provide testing support for enhancements of core hospitals systems.
