Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of medical office or health plan experience or 1 year of front-facing customer service experience.
• Knowledge of registration, scheduling, medical records management, and insurance procedures.
• Ability to greet patients and answer calls clearly and pleasantly.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, answer calls, and enhance the customer experience.
• Pull, control, and file patient charts while protecting privacy.
• Schedule and pre-register patients per policy to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in eligibility and authorizations for financial clearance.
• Check-in patients to ensure seamless throughput.
• Check-out patients and schedule follow-ups and procedures.
• Enter charges, collect payments, and handle cash per procedures.
• Follow policies to work across departments.
