Job summary

Spire Healthcare are recruiting Patient Contact Centre Advisors within the Admissions Team in Seaham. Induction training will be held for 2 weeks (9am to 5pm) following this, shifts will vary between the hours of 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday shifts.

You will manage bookings for outpatients using SAP and handle all appointment operations. You will maintain clinic diaries, process referrals and appointment letters, and respond to patient enquiries with courtesy and

Qualifications

• Demonstrable literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience handling high call volumes in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient PC skills and ability to use multiple systems (SAP).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain an efficient bookings system for all outpatients using SAP.
• Manage the telephone lines in an effective and timely manner.
• Maintain a diary for all outpatient clinics, including consultant and nurse-led clinics.
• Process patient referral letters and related documentation with accuracy.
• Process patient appointment letters and related documentation.
• Respond to enquiries from patients, the public and consultants by phone or letter with courtesy.
• Demonstrate literacy and numeracy in daily tasks.
