Job summary

United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Patient Service Advisor (Band 3) to join the Patient Service Hub. You will handle patient queries, coordinate appointments and maintain accurate records in line with NHS practices.

The role offers flexible working options, with emphasis on patient-centered communication, data accuracy and collaboration across hospital services within Lincolnshire.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent.
• Computer literacy and CLAIT.
• Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• NVQ qualification or equivalent.
• Experience of customer care or working in an office environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
• Knowledge of NHS working.

Responsibilities

• Lead on delivering care coordination activities.
• Ensure patients receive appointments and are admitted in a timely manner.
• Provide information to patients in a timely, accurate and effective way.
• Answer general patient enquiries and appointment queries.
• Liaise with Patient Service Hub teams and departments.
• Use Patient Services Hub information systems for recording and reporting data.
• Follow Patient Services Hub SOPs and SLAs.
