Job summary

The Ridgeway Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Patient Administrator for a 37.5-hour per week permanent role in Swindon. You will support the patient journey, manage bookings and inquiries, and ensure compliance with health-and-safety requirements.

Ideal candidates will have Maths/English GCSEs, PC proficiency and basic financial awareness; private healthcare admin experience is beneficial. Training and career development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSEs at A-C or equivalent
• Proficient in PC use and software/systems
• Basic financial awareness
• Administration experience in private healthcare would be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Support the patient administrative process throughout the patient journey.
• Follow best practice process maps to provide a standard service to patients, visitors, consultants and staff.
• Handle patient queries efficiently and professionally.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing mail.
• Approve electronic bookings and update bookings via email.
• Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and ensure safety measures.
• Complete mandatory training
