Job summary

The Ridgeway Hospital is seeking a Patient Administrator to join the Administration team on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week). The role offers a permanent contract with a salary up to £25,044.85 per year, depending on experience, training and qualifications.

You will support the patient journey, handle queries, bookings and mail, follow Circle Health Group procedures, and maintain health and safety standards while completing mandatory training.

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSE A-C (or equivalent).
• Proficient PC user with software and systems.
• Basic financial awareness.
• Previous admin experience in private healthcare beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the smooth running of the patient administrative process throughout the patient journey.
• Follow Circle Health Group best practice process maps to provide a standard service.
• Deal with all patient queries efficiently and professionally.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
• Approve electronic bookings and update bookings received via email.
• Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and ensure safety measures.
• Complete all relevant mandatory training.
