Job summary

Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital is hiring a Bank Patient Services Administrator to support multiple admin areas and greet patients at appointments. The role is part-time and bank-based, offering flexible hours to match business needs.

You will handle enquiries from patients and clinicians, keep patient records accurate, and assist with outpatient appointments and related admin tasks in a busy healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients for appointments.
• Handle enquiries from service users across varying admin departments.
• Ensure patient information is correct and logged in appropriate systems.
• Answer phones, manage post and general admin duties.
• Arrange Outpatient appointments and manage clinic sessions as requested.
• Maintain databases and ensure data accuracy.
• Support Consultants, GPs and Secretaries with administrative tasks.

As an Patient Administrator, you will:

• Work over varied Admin departments
• Handle enquiries from varying service users
• Will be required to greet and attend patients for their appointments.
• Ensure all patient information is correct and logged/updated on the relevant systems
• Deal with enquiries from Patients, Consultants, GPs and Secretaries.
• Arrange Outpatient appointments
• Answering phones, organising post and general admin duties.
• Put your strong IT and keyboard skills to work.
• Maintain databases.
• Manage Consultant clinic sessions as per requests.

Previous Healthcare Admin experience will be an advantage.
