Job summary

An Exciting opportunity has arisen for a Patient Records Data Quality & Scanning Officer to Support the Patient Records service to organise the day-to-day operations of the DHR and/or paper so that they provide a high quality, efficient and effective service that supports patient care, investigation and merging duplicate registration, prepare paper records for scanning.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to use own initiative, organise workloads and delegate duties.
• Knowledge of principles of confidentiality.
• Evidence of continual professional development.
• Knowledge of NHS Records Management legislation.

Responsibilities

• Organise day-to-day operations of the DHR and paper records for scanning.
• Ensure IG compliance and Patient Records Management procedures to meet objectives.
• Work flexible hours to support staff outside core hours as needed.
