Job summary

Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Patient Pathway Co-Ordinator for the Paediatric Fatigue services in Bath. The role is Band 3, full-time with one day per week home working, and involves coordinated medical administration for appointments and patient communications.

Qualifications

• Excellent standard of written and spoken English.
• Proven track record of administrative/secretarial experience.
• Experience of health care administration.
• Evidence of relevant administrative training courses completed.
• Proven experience of maintaining a patient or information database.

Responsibilities

• Provide a complete medical administrative service including booking in/out appointments and scheduling/rescheduling.
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to provide a quality service for patients.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth running of administrative service and safe patient care.
• Be the first point of contact, answer telephone enquiries, relay messages clearly and establish priorities.
