Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work within a specific clinical area to facilitate the smooth running of the patient journey by ensuring that co-ordinated and streamlined administrative processes revolve around the patient and their individual needs.
• Provide administrative support to all clinical staff within the clinical area including Consultants, Nurse Specialists and Junior Doctors ensuring effective co-ordination of their diaries etc. this will include cancellation and reinstating of clinics in line with planned and unplanned leave.
• To provide cross cover for reception service to all visitors to Anticoagulation at Orsett hospital to ensure a consistent and effective administration service is maintained at all times.
• Support the clinical team, Operational Manager and other Divisional managers in ensuring the speciality are able to deliver safe and effective services whilst also ensuring compliance with contractual access targets e.g. the 18 weeks Referral To Treatment target.
• Provide cross-cover for other Patient Pathway Co-ordinators to ensure a consistent and effective administration service is maintained at all times.
