Patient navigator/ Receptionist Vacancy

· Full and part time hours available

· Closing date 29th June 2025

· Rate of pay £12.35 per hour

The Avenue Surgery is seeking an enthusiastic and forward – thinking Patient Navigator to join our like-minded reception team.

The role is practice based and the successful candidate will be responsible to assist and direct our patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way, providing a ‘her to help’ approach and promoting a ‘can do’ ethos.

The position requires the individual to work with autonomy and a high degree of confidentiality, sensitivity, discretion, empathy and tact. The individual needs to have the ability to work in a changing environment.

Who we are:

We are a large training practice, providing all aspects of primary care to circa. 18,500 patients, with a Good CQC rating. We have an extremely friendly team which includes specialist nurses, HCAs, visiting paramedics as well as medicines management team and living well specialists to support our elderly population. The teams are all supported by dedicated administration members. We also have close links to our district nurse team.
