Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a friendly, organised Sexual Health Administrator to join our Rugby service. You’ll be the welcoming first point of contact, managing bookings, patient records and enquiries, and supporting clinical colleagues to ensure a smooth, patient-centered experience.

Based at Rugby Sexual Health Service, you will work as part of a busy multidisciplinary team, delivering confidential and non-judgemental support while upholding safeguarding and data privacy standards.

Qualifications

• GCSE-level education, or equivalent, in Maths and English.
• Experience in an administrative, reception or customer-facing role.
• Confidence using IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to organise and prioritise your workload.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A professional, mature and non-judgemental approach when dealing with sensitive sexual health matters.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable and respected.
• Booking and registering appointments.
• Managing telephone and face-to-face enquiries in a professional and sensitive manner.
• Using electronic patient systems to record and update information accurately.
• Supporting the effective use of clinic appointments and capacity.
• Producing letters and carrying out general administrative duties.
• Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
• Recording accurate messages and passing them promptly to the appropriate clinical colleague.
• Booking interpreters when required.
• Maintaining a safe, confidential and well-organised reception environment.
• Working collaboratively with clinical, administrative and managerial colleagues.
• Following agreed procedures and escalating enquiries or concerns appropriately.
