Job summary

HCRG Care Group in Coventry seeks a friendly, organised Administrator for the Sexual Health Service. You will manage appointments, patient records and enquiries, supporting clinical colleagues to deliver a positive patient experience.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours/week) at Coventry Sexual Health Service, with a focus on welcoming, respectful care and confidential handling in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• GCSE-level education in Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Experience in administrative, reception or customer-facing roles.
• Confidence using IT systems including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
• Strong verbal and written communication, professional and confidential.
• Ability to work within procedures and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Understanding of confidentiality and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable and respected.
• Booking and registering appointments and managing clinic capacity.
• Handling telephone and in-person enquiries professionally.
• Using electronic patient systems to record and update information.
• Producing letters and performing general administrative duties.
• Maintaining a safe, confidential and well-organised reception area.
• Collaborating with clinical, administrative and managerial colleagues.
• Escalating enquiries per procedures; communicating sensitively about sexual health.
