Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is seeking a Band 6 Patient Experience and Involvement Manager to lead and coordinate patient and public involvement across the Trust, translating patient insight into improvements.

You will develop programmes, recruit patient representatives, promote co-production, analyse feedback and present governance reports to influence service design and quality enhancement.

Qualifications

• Experience of patient engagement, co-production and analysing feedback.
• Ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong communication, facilitation and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, delivery and evaluation of the Trust's Patient and Public Involvement Programme.
• Coordinate Patient Partnership Groups, Panels and Networks; recruit and induct volunteers.
• Promote co-production and involve patients in service redesign and quality improvement.
• Manage patient experience programmes (FFT, surveys, local feedback) and analyse insights.
• Produce reports, dashboards and presentations for governance forums; identify themes.
• Facilitate workshops and engagement activities; manage competing priorities and sensitive issues.
• Develop relationships with Healthwatch, charities and voluntary sector partners.
