Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Head of Involvement to lead the patient, public and community involvement agenda within the Communications and Engagement Directorate. This role provides strategic leadership across involvement programmes to ensure engagement is meaningful, inclusive and delivers real impact.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, governors and community partners to amplify patient voices and support delivery of organisational priorities, including

Qualifications

• Post-graduate qualification or professional diploma in communications, public relations, engagement or a related discipline.
• Desirable: Professional body membership and/or accreditation (e.g. CIPR, PRCA or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of the Trust's patient, public and community involvement strategy.
• Provide strategic leadership for engagement activity linked to major transformation programmes such as the New Hospital Programme.
• Build and maintain influential relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
• Lead governance for member and governor engagement with statutory responsibilities.
• Commission and oversee specialist engagement, research and evaluation activity.
• Embed a culture where patient and community insight informs decision-making and service improvement.
