The role sits within the Communications and Engagement Directorate and focuses on meaningful, inclusive participation that informs decisions and service improvements.

The successful candidate will build relationships with Healthwatch, voluntary groups and researchers, oversee governance for member and governor engagement, and drive involvement

• Lead the development and delivery of the Trust's patient, public and community involvement strategy.
• Lead engagement activity for the New Hospital Programme, ensuring governance and recognised involvement principles.
• Build and maintain relationships with Healthwatch, voluntary and community groups, independent research partners and seldom-heard communities.
• Lead the governance framework for Foundation Trust member and governor engagement, meeting statutory responsibilities.
• Commission and oversee specialist engagement, research and evaluation with value-for-money governance.
• Collaborate with senior executives and governors to embed patient and community insight in decision-making and service improvement.
