Job summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Patient Experience Team. You will help keep patients at the heart of service improvements and play a key role in the Real-Time Patient Feedback Pilot across the organisation.

You will work across the organisation, engaging staff, patients and carers, collecting and analysing feedback, and helping shape improvements in care and patient experience.

Qualifications

• GCSE in Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above).
• Degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
• Desirable: Evidence of continued development/qualification in customer service.
• Professional management qualification (Desirable).
• Engaging and involving colleagues, stakeholders and members of the public.
• Coordinating patient and public involvement activities, including co-production.
• Managing projects within deadlines.
• Organising and planning meetings and events.
• Taking comprehensive accurate minutes.
• Developing administrative processes.
• Line management experience.
• Analysing information and producing and presenting reports.
• Experience of working within a large organisation.
• Awareness of safeguarding guidelines.
• Ability to exercise initiative and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Engage empathetically with patients, families, carers and staff to ensure voices are heard.
• Influence colleagues at all levels to champion patient voice and drive care improvements.
• Collect, analyse and translate patient feedback into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to support service improvements.
• Contribute to marketing and communication to give feedback visibility and impact across the organisation.
