Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team in the hospital setting. You will provide patient care across age groups and collaborate with nurses and the health care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes for every patient.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and certification or completion of a CNA/MA/PCT program, or eligibility for the HMH PCT Apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Completion of CNA/MA/PCT program, or nursing Fundamentals, or HMH PCT Apprenticeship.
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year PCT or CNA hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on age-specific criteria.
• Communicate patient status with care team.
• Support care plan from admission to discharge.
• Participate in PI activities.
