Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in New Jersey to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. You will administer medications, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and communicate with patients and families to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

Applicants must hold a current New Jersey RN license and AHA BLS/CPR. BSN preferred. Six months of nursing experience or Nurse Residency involvement required. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• Six months of relevant nursing experience or active participant in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, take accountability, and deliver high-quality patient care with strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research, policies, and standards of care for safe, patient-centered care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and health care team regarding status and care plans.
• Responsible for patient satisfaction and care experience according to HMH standards.
• Medication administration using current clinical documentation technology for safe delivery.
• Patient and family-centered care to optimize health, wellness, and disease management.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration to manage the plan of care from admission to discharge.
