Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is recruiting a Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker to provide direct patient care under supervision at Stobhill Hospital. This permanent full-time role involves 36 hours weekly with day and night shifts in a 11.5-hour rotation.

You will join a multidisciplinary team and participate in practice development programmes, delivering compassionate care and ensuring effective communication within the care team.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate approach to patient care.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from different disciplines.
• Essential literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to undertake practice development and training programmes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in practice development programmes.
