NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is recruiting Band 2 Health Care Support Workers to join our hospital wards across NHSGGC. You will assist in delivering a high standard of nursing care to patients, under supervision, with full induction and ongoing learning opportunities.
The role requires full-time availability and a varied rotational shift pattern, including day and night shifts, weekends and public holidays.

An opportunity has arisen for Band 2 Health Care Support Workers (HCSWs) within our hospital wards across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated HCSWs with effective communication skills to join our friendly teams. In return, we offer ongoing learning opportunities to support your learning and development. Full induction will be provided to all new starters.
You will be required to assist in delivering a high standard of nursing care to patients. These posts require candidates with good problem-solving and listening skills, together with a compassionate and caring nature. Previous experience within an NHS, hospital or care setting would be advantageous.
Candidates must be available to work 7 days over 7 on a full-time, permanent basis.
Full availability to cover a varied rotational shift pattern is essential, including both day and night shifts. Candidates must be able to commit to the required shift pattern, including weekends and public holidays where required.
Candidates should be prepared to work across the required shift patterns and locations as part of the role.
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is unable to provide candidates or employees with a Certificate of Sponsorship (COS).
