Circle Health Group's Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow is hiring a Healthcare Assistant to join a busy ward. This permanent, part-time position offers 36 hours per week with a salary up to £26,763 per year depending on experience and qualifications.

You will support patients with personal care, feeding, mobility and comfort, perform basic observations under supervision, and work closely with nurses and clinicians to maintain a safe, high-quality care environment.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in a care or health support role.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a caring, compassionate attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and escalate concerns appropriately.

Aufgaben

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, washing, dressing, toileting, oral care, and mobility needs, respecting their preferences and dignity.
• Help patients with eating, drinking, and nutritional support, including documenting intake where appropriate.
• Provide comfort and emotional support to patients and relatives, creating a caring and safe environment.
• Carry out and accurately record routine observations such as blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, temperature, oxygen saturation, and blood glucose levels (after appropriate training).
• Support basic clinical procedures, including wound care setup, assisting with catheter care, pressure area prevention, and mobility aids.
• Prepare and maintain clinical areas, including trolleys, beds, and equipment in readiness for patient use.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, therapists, and admin teams to support safe and efficient patient care
