Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Part Time Patient Access Representative II for the Primary Care Clinic. You will support patient access operations, including registration, scheduling, and insurance verification, ensuring a positive patient experience and accurate data capture.

The role requires an Associate degree with experience or a HS diploma with more experience; preferred Bachelor’s degree. Strong communication and computer skills are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree plus one year relevant experience or High School Diploma/GED plus three years relevant experience.
• Experience with electronic health record, registration & billing systems or ability to learn such systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments, register patients, collect co-pays, manage visits, and collect compliance documents.
• Verify insurance, obtain prior authorizations, reconcile referrals, and process referrals.
• Coordinate with Contact Center to route calls and follow up with patients.
• Communicate with patients via phone, text, and MyChart.
