Job summary

Coventry City Council is recruiting a Children and Family Worker for the Through Care Service, focusing on Pathways. You will support children in care as they move toward independence, delivering direct and group work to help them build peer networks and access education, training, or employment opportunities.

Working with families, carers, social workers, and other professionals, you will apply trauma-informed practice and ensure plans are person-centered.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children, young people and/or families.
• Understanding of trauma-informed practice and safeguarding.
• Ability to build positive relationships and work in groups.
