Job summary

Coventry City Council is seeking a dedicated Children and Family Worker for the Pathways Programme within the Through Care Service. The role focuses on supporting children in care to develop peer networks and access support through direct and group work techniques, with collaboration across partner agencies.

You will work with families, carers, Social Workers, Personal Advisers, and other professionals to deliver tailored practical, emotional, and relational support aligned to individual plans

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, young people, and/or families.
• Understanding of issues affecting children in care and care leavers.
• Skilled at building positive relationships and group work.

Responsibilities

• Lead individual and group work with children in care to build relationships.
• Support with practical life skills, emotional wellbeing, and education/employment.
• Collaborate with families, carers, Social Workers, Personal Advisers, and other professionals.
