Job summary

Coventry City Council is seeking a dedicated role within the Pathways to Employment Team to support young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) through the Coventry’s Changing Futures Together programme.

You will work with learners on study programmes and supported internships, providing coaching and on-the-job training, while coordinating with families, education providers and employers to create pathways into work.

Responsibilities

• Support learners on study programmes including supported internships, Step into Work, and Step into Your Future.
• Provide on-the-job training and workplace support; identify skills, experience and aspirations.
• Liaise with families, education providers and other stakeholders to tailor support.
• Identify and create employment opportunities with employers and develop support plans.
• Conduct regular monitoring visits and reviews to track progress and outcomes.
