Job summary

The City of Doncaster Council is seeking a dedicated Supported Accommodation Officer to help adults in supported accommodation achieve greater independence. You will assess, plan and coordinate placements, working with housing, health and social care partners to secure safe, sustainable outcomes.

Applicants should have relevant experience in housing, homelessness, or related services and be comfortable with multi‑agency collaboration, risk management and GDPR.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing, homelessness, supported accommodation, social care, health, probation, or related services.
• Experience of completing assessments, support planning, risk management, partnership working, safeguarding, GDPR, and working with individuals with multiple and complex needs is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate access to supported accommodation and ensure individuals are assessed and matched to suitable services.
• Work with accommodation providers, outreach services, housing teams, health partners, social care and voluntary sector organisations.
• Manage referrals, placements and stakeholder relationships to meet safeguarding and multi-agency requirements.
