Job summary

City of Doncaster Council is seeking a dedicated Supported Accommodation Officer to help adults access suitable accommodation and support services. You will assess needs, coordinate placements, and work with housing, health and social care partners to secure stable outcomes.

The role requires experience in housing or social care, strong assessment and reporting skills, and a commitment to safeguarding and GDPR. A fast-paced environment calls for excellent organisation and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing, homelessness and supported accommodation essential.
• Experience completing assessments and risk management.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple agencies and stakeholders.
• Strong written records, reporting and information-sharing skills.
• Understanding of GDPR and safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate access to supported accommodation and assess suitability.
• Match individuals to appropriate accommodation and support services.
• Maintain a person-centred, strengths-based approach to achieve positive outcomes.
• Manage referrals, placements and stakeholder relationships within tight timescales.
• Collaborate with providers, outreach services, housing teams and partner organisations.
