Job summary

FRONTrunner Recruitment Ltd is assisting in finding an electrical tester for a Birmingham-area role. You will test portable appliances on large commercial sites and travel to 1–2 sites daily, with bonuses for a 3rd site. The position covers Birmingham and surrounding West Midlands areas.

Requires a C&G 2377 PAT course, PAT testing experience, a full UK driving licence, and strong customer service skills on site. DBS check clearance is expected.

Qualifications

• C&G 2377 PAT course required.
• Experience performing portable appliance testing on commercial sites.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent on-site customer service skills.
• Be able to pass a DBS check.

About the Company

My client is a very well respected electrical compliance and testing company that has been established for well over 40 years, they cover all over the UK and can claim a lot of very well known companies and organisations as customers. They pride themselves on their engineers’ skills as well as always being one step ahead of the ever changing electrical regulations. They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant and take their service very seriously to make sure their clients always come back in the future.

Responsibilities

• Testing portable appliances on large commercial sites
• Going to 1 or 2 sites per day – extra bonuses if you have to go to a 3rd site that day
• Covering mostly in and around the Birmingham and B postcode area with some sites being in the west midlands area

Salary & Benefits

• 27k basic salary – realistic OTE of 38-40k OTE
• Bonus scheme for the amount of items tested per day–15p, 25p or 35p per test after daily targets are hit
