Job summary

Compliance Group Electrical Ltd is seeking a PAT Tester for our Northamptonshire-based team. If you have PAT testing experience, we’d love to hear from you. City & Guilds 2377 is preferred, but in-house training is provided.

A full UK driving licence is required and DBS checks will be performed. Occasional weekend work may be required. You will perform portable appliance testing under the Code of Practice, travel as needed, and deliver professional, friendly service to clients.

• City & Guilds 2377 or equivalent, or willingness to train.
• Basic electrical knowledge required.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Professional approach and dedication to thorough testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing and inspection of portable appliances to ensure safe use, including fuse changes and plug re-terminations as needed.
• Microwave emissions testing.
• Data submission for all appliance testing under Code of Practice, 5th edition.
• Travel as required and provide first-class client service.

Job description

At Compliance Group Electrical we’re hiring for a PAT Tester who will join our team based in the Northamptonshire area. If you have experience in PAT testing, we’d love to hear from you. Ideally, you’ll hold a City & Guilds 2377 qualification, but if not, we offer in‑house training. If PAT testing has always been a career path you’re interested in, we’d still like to hear from you. We value not only your ability to deliver thorough, compliant PAT testing but also your commitment to providing professional, friendly service to our clients. A full UK Driving Licence is required, and DBS/security checks will be made. You may be required to work the occasional weekend depending on the business needs.
