Job summary

FRONTrunner Recruitment Ltd is working with a well established electrical compliance and testing company to recruit a PAT tester. You will carry out portable appliance testing on large commercial sites and help ensure adherence to current regulations.

Based in the Birmingham area, you will travel between sites, earn a basic salary of 27k with realistic 38–40k OTE, plus bonuses, a company van and fuel card, and 23 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• C&G 2377 PAT course is required.
• Experience conducting portable appliance testing on commercial sites.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Be able to pass a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Test portable appliances on large commercial sites.
• Travel to 1–2 sites per day, extra bonuses for 3rd site.
• Cover Birmingham and West Midlands region.

Job Overview

My client is a well respected electrical compliance and testing company that has been established for over 40 years. They cover all over the UK and can claim a lot of very well known companies and organisations as customers. They pride themselves on their engineers' skills as well as always being one step ahead of the ever changing electrical regulations. They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant and take their service very seriously to make sure their clients always come back in the future.

Responsibilities

• Testing portable appliances on large commercial sites
• Going to 1 or 2 sites per day - extra bonuses if you have to go to a 3rd site that day
• Covering mostly in and around the Birmingham and B postcode area with some sites being in the west midlands area

Salary and Benefits

• 27k basic salary - realistic OTE of 38-40k OTE
• Bonus scheme for the amount of items tested per day - 15p, 25p or 35p per test after daily targets are hit
