Job summary

Norwood Electrical UK Ltd seeks a PAT Engineer to perform In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment in line with the IET Code of Practice. You will ensure results meet client and accreditation standards while working on various sites such as schools, hospitals, hotels and universities.

The role requires good Microsoft Office skills, reliable timekeeping and the ability to manage your own schedule under PAT Head Office guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience performing PAT testing in line with IET Code of Practice.
• Proficient in MS Office and email communications.
• Strong time management and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT) per IET Code of Practice.
• Produce results that meet client and external accrediting bodies' quality standards.
• Manage appliance testing in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations.
• Liaise with customers to ensure efficient work and minimal disruption; sites include schools, hospitals, hotels, universities.
• Weekly download and submission of results to the PAT team at Head Office; access to emails required.
