The Belfry is seeking a Pastry Sous Chef to lead the pastry team in crafting desserts, pastries, and sweet treats for the resort. You’ll train staff, develop menus with kitchen managers, and ensure high standards using seasonal, local ingredients.

Experience at pastry sous chef level, strong communication, and leadership skills are essential. The role offers a comprehensive development program and a supportive, wellbeing‑oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or higher.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Inspirational leadership and strong communication.
• Passion for fine food and seasonal ingredients.
• Standards-driven with eye for detail and portion control.

Responsabilités

• Set up and prepare menu items for service based on occupancy.
• Cook and deliver desserts and pastries using high‑quality ingredients.
• Run a safe, compliant kitchen and oversee a section during busy service.
• Lead, train and develop team members; assist with menu ideas with kitchen managers.
• Possible deputising for Head Chef and managing wastage for GP accuracy.
