Job summary

Gateway Hospitality Recruitment has a Cambridge-based client seeking a Pastry Chef for their college kitchen. The role offers 37.5 hours weekly with a fortnightly shift pattern and alternate weekends off, in Cambridge.

You will work on the pastry section for restaurant and functions, supporting senior chefs, and manage your own station while rotating early and late shifts. Ideal candidates will have pastry experience in a quality hotel, college or restaurant, with fresh produce cooking for large

Qualifications

• Pastry chef with experience in busy hotel/college/restaurant.
• Experience cooking with fresh produce for large volumes.
• NVQ level qualification or equivalent.
• Career focused.

Responsibilities

• Working on the Pastry Section producing meals for restaurant and functions.
• Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in each service.
• Managing and ordering your own section.
• Working mixture of early and late shifts on rota basis.
