Job Description

Are you a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef seeking a new opportunity to showcase your talents in a Michelin-starred restaurant? Join the pastry team at Wild Honey St James, within the luxurious ambiance of Sofitel London St James.

As the Pastry Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for leading our pastry offerings, working closely with the Head Chef to create innovative desserts. Your expertise will ensure each dessert is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, setting high standards for taste, texture, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative pastry creations.
  • Prepare and produce pastries, desserts, and baked goods daily.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety to ensure quality and freshness.
  • Assist in menu planning and special event preparations.
  • Drive efficiency in kitchen operations and uphold our commitment to quality, ensuring all pastry production meets high standards.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Demi Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end culinary environment.
  • Creative flair with a strong understanding of flavor combinations and presentation.
  • Proficiency in various pastry techniques, including decorating and plating.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certifications are highly desirable.
