Job summary

Leonardo Hotel Management (UK) Limited is seeking a Pastry Chef de Partie to join the Limited Edition pastry team. You will prepare intricate pastry goods for afternoon tea, à la carte desserts, and all conference, banqueting, and events, with most pastries made in-house and a path for career growth.

You will work with a skilled pastry team, maintain high hygiene standards, manage stock, and contribute to menu knowledge and guest care.

Responsibilities

• Offer exceptional guest care at all times.
• Prepare, present and deliver consistently outstanding pastry goods and food for any guest needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues in other departments to elevate the overall guest experience.
• Maintain good knowledge of menus and food item specifications throughout the hotel, including food items for M&E.
• Assist with stock control and identifying methods for improving food service as required.
• Run sections of the kitchen during service.
• Ensure a consistently high level of food service, maintaining awareness of commodities used, preparation, methods and cooking.
• Keep the department ready for business operations, ensuring kitchen is set up prior to service and all areas have the required equipment and products.
• Utilise all relevant systems correctly to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Adhere to Company policies, Code of Conduct, procedures and relevant legislation at all times – including, but not limited to, Data Protection and Health and Safety regulations; this role requires particular adherence to hygiene, Allergens, COSHH and HACCP
• Complete any other reasonable request made by a member of the management team or a supervisor
