Job description

This award-winning hotel is seeking an experienced and talented Pastry Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team.

Location and Culture

Located in a magnificent setting with beautiful views, the hotel offers live-in accommodation, a fantastic culture, and a strong emphasis on staff welfare and wellbeing.

Role Overview

The busy kitchen team needs a Pastry Chef de Partie to lead in producing a range of delicate desserts, proper puddings, and other sweet creations for the entire hotel. Responsibilities include catering for large-scale conferences and events, creating inspired mini-desserts for the restaurant, and preparing classic and contemporary afternoon tea pastries. This role offers a great opportunity to develop your career in pastry.

Requirements
  1. NVQ Level 1 & 2 or equivalent
  2. Strong leadership, motivational, and teamwork skills
  3. Planning and time management skills
  4. Flexible attitude
  5. Experience in relevant disciplines
  6. NVQ Level 3 (advantageous)
  7. Hygiene certificate
  8. Experience with fresh produce
  9. Must be working in or resident in the UK, with right to work, and eligible to live and work in the UK
