Job summary

The FitzWimarc School is seeking a Pastoral Assistant to provide day-to-day pastoral care to students while collaborating with families, staff, and external agencies. The role centers on wellbeing, attendance, and behaviour monitoring, with health and welfare coordination integral to the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day pastoral support to students, working with families, staff and external agencies
• Monitor attendance, behaviour and safeguarding concerns, keeping accurate records and intervening in good time
• Coordinate student health and welfare support, including first aid, medical care plans and liaison with relevant professionals
• Contribute to the school's wider pastoral provision and inclusive learning environment
