Thetford Academy, part of Inspiration Trust, invites applications for a Vice Principal (Pastoral) to join the Senior Leadership Team. Based at Thetford Academy, Croxton Road, Thetford, this role leads safeguarding, inclusion, and pastoral provision to raise pupil resilience and achievement.

You will develop strategies with the SLT, coach teachers, and drive data-informed improvements while supporting staff development and ensuring high standards across the academy.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safeguarding as Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• Implement safeguarding in all relevant policies and academy procedures.
• Lead Equality, Diversity and Inclusion across the school.
• Deliver high-quality pastoral support programmes and raise achievement.
• Lead strategic teams to develop high-quality behaviour across the academy.
• Ensure the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND, are met.
• Ensure Quality Assurance procedures are undertaken rigorously.
• Undertake line management as directed by the Principal.
